Yet another long overdue post.. Sorry im not a v regular poster, as most of you know, too lazy most of the time~
Just came back from good weather and assholes in Shanghai. I should say i rather enjoyed myself there if not for the people... But then again maybe its just their culture.
Managed to squeeze in tours to Hangzhou plus Suzhou plus a lil bit of Shanghai. Nice weather around 10 degrees plus.. Hehehe. Better than SG by a mile.
Goods there are honestly cheaper by A LOT. If you can buy Vans for 19.90 when it sells for 79.90 in SG, i think its a total ripoff :P
Also did quite a bit of the work there... maths and english(minus summary) were completed, got to practice the new maths topics i guess?
But theres still lots of thing to do.. the insane chinese, chem, study for physics test... Sians. Lucky You Hong helped a lot with the proj haha.
Life at Shanghai was tough for personal reasons.. Couldnt sleep half the time there :( Well, i think thats all cured with a phone call (: HAHA.
Im really beat now from jet lag/waking up at 4 45 in the morning but i think i shall aim to finish chinese compre today ^.^

Nothing much these few days, damn bored of the hols alrd -.-
Trying in vain to start my ridiculous 310 word vocab and chinese hmwk..

Went to watch New Moon on its premiere date against my better judgement and.....
IT SUCKED.
Lol. Storyline was quite lousy i suppose. Found the girls who kept wolf whistling+giggling super annoying -.-
But I still think he looks kinda hot haha! :P

Before Alex left for OAL camp, me and Kai Xiang played basketball with him lols. Super funny haha, kept joking and making him laugh :P After a while we decided to play a pickup game with 3 china ppl (all taller than me) cuz we were damn sian alrd. Then Santhi and his uber-zai-point guard fren come and play with us.... AND WE STILL WON. Lol.

Played again last Fri with Joshua, Leon, Kai Xiang and Gordon after bringing my bro to camp. Nothing much.. Gordon PSP screwed up ; cannot ad hoc Fifa 10 lols.

Lol consort on sun = GG. We all died. End of story

As for this week.... feel uber bored... Read and re-read To Kill a Mockingbird and Things Fall Apart alrd. Now trying to do my 310 word vocab.... -.-

Feeling quite frustrated now.... Have so many things on my mind..

Just came back from Consort prac today... Im still impressed with the quality of the singers there, which becomes my main motivation to keep coming back every sunday ( and of course learn nice pieces :P)
Then again, quite tiring ba. Still have to self learn the carols for Tuesdays concert + find a black long sleeve collar shirt (if anyone can lend me i shall be eternally grateful).

Tommorow marks the end of practices with Mr Kwei for the holidays with Cat High... Im really pissed off at a certain SOMEONE for canceling the fking practices. What a bitch. Btw, at the rate we are going, we might just get a Silver. So for all the EBChoir ppl out there, its time to pull up your socks and work your ass off to get the Overall Champ that we all want.

I must say, this sec 1 batch is proving to be an extremely uncooperative and disgraceful batch. Bad enough that you cant sing well, but even worse is that you have lousy attitudes. Yall are moving on to be seniors and future leaders of this choir next year, so yall better prove yourself NOW. I sincerely pray that next years sec 1's are better..

Then again, I myself am going to sec 3. With Olomouc coming, it just means that I have to rely on better time management skills and discipline. Already spent some time studying To Kill A Mockingbird and physics, which is turning out to be a nightmare. Havent even touched HCL yet...

God the hols are like the busiest ones ive ever had.... Feeling the heat of concerts to come and daunting relationships. Anyways, i shall begin with our $15 choir camp :P

Day 1 :

Reported to school at 8am, found out that my pre-planned group was not to be permanentcuz it was too imba with me and Zheng Da. Instead, I got posted to Michael's grp with lotsa Sec 1's and only 1 sec 4 - Tony

Resigned to my fate, we started the first activity, which was getting to know each member better. So we wrote down some of their special interests, hobbies etc etc. Played a game of HedBandz for awhile - its a game where a card with the name of a person, animal, plant, location etc etc is put on your head using a headband(hence the name HedBandz) and you have to ask questions to guess what it is. The thing is,
Broke for lunch - great porridge with eggs + luncheon meat + vegetables. Ate a ton of it cuz i was absolutely starving :P

Anyways, we went out to East Coast after that! Planned activities were Captain's ball + Cycling or bowling. Azaac's weather forecast was that there would be rain and lightning, which was kinda hard to believe at first but slowly became a reality. Soon, after around 15 mins of captains ball, we rushed over to the bowling alley, trying not to get too heavily drenched.

Bowling was really fun. Got my highest recorded score - 99 (cuz of that stupid last pin -.-). I know its really lousy. For our lane, the competition was most often between me and Tony, with each of us winning a game each. After that, paid extra $ for an extra round with Gavin, Leon and Michael. Did terribly -.-

Biggest suprises- 1. Ignatius - Totally imba with his 5 strikes in 1 game lols. 2nd highest scorer of the game with 135 :P
2. Wei Chern (sec 1) - LOL the BIGGEST SUPRISE. His crazy technique got him the highest score of the session - 136. Not bad for one of the shortest and skinniest guys in choir...
3. (BUFFMAN) Zheng Da. - though he didnt get a top 5 placing, his bowling technique was super silent, accurate and cool lol.
4. Elishah - Totally stunned us with 2 strikes wtf. Pwned Ziwei :P

*FYI* Buffman means muscleman lol.

It was still raining really heavily after the session. Had to scoot over to the Macs shelter at the opposite side of the bowling alley, where the bus uncle was supposed to meet us. He ended up parking outside instead cuz the road too small, making us chiong to the bus outside zzz.

Anyways i was really tired and HUNGRY ( lol i eat loads ) and i slept on the bus back to school...

Dinner was great, but anything would have tasted great cuz i was famished :P After dinner is now a blank to me until the part where we auctioned for food and drinks lol. Played Murderer after that, was lucky enuff to be the murderer hehe...

Day 2 :

The next morning PT was dodgeball. Quite fun i guess? Had bread and peanut butter for breakfast. Headed out for badminton and table tennis at Yishun sports hall. Kinda fun cuz i dominated both table tennis and badminton hoho :P (im a imba badminton player LOL)

Lunch was at macs, which was a big relief after 2 days of not-as-indulging food. Soon after was the prac for Sec 4 Appreciation party, which totally sucked -.-


YES IM FINALLY OVER WITH CAMP OMG. Sorry i know this post is long overdue. Just had other things to do bleah. :P
Hahaha got the class results people! My new class is 3-9, presumably for ppl taking double sci + lit elect ba. So far the class roster isnt too bad, except for THOSE few ppl..... >:(
